Apple has finally released its new iPhone and you
can say; we got what we were expecting for – finely a phone that really meets
the standard of being called a smartphone. It’s 3D touch is a genuine
innovation, and the phone works fluidly at nearly every task. It’s clear now
that Apple has put a lot of effort into the handset to show that despite
looking identical to last year's model, there has been loads of changes and new
features going under the hood that make this an attractive and reliable phone.
The chassis is stronger, the camera sharper –
with a new Harry Potter-sequel way of capturing your snaps. The front of the
phone is now covered in a new level of strength, with a glass that's far less
prone to shattering when dropped on the floor – now that's something I can get
behind. We've not drop tested it - we'll leave that to some other, braver
reviewer - if the screen is stronger the responsiveness hasn't dropped.
Apple says
they are having a co-processor in their chips, called “The M9 chip”. The M9
motion coprocessor is integrated directly into the A9 chip so you can do more,
for longer periods of time, with great performance and battery life. The M9
connects to the accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and barometer for a wide
range of fitness tracking capabilities.
With iPhone
6s, you can now even measure your running or walking pace in addition to your
steps, distance, and elevation changes. The integrated M9 works so efficiently
and intelligently that Siri is always on and waiting for your voice commands.
You can easily activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” whenever your iPhone 6s is
nearby. The touch ID is much faster than the previous one.
